Hi! I’m Jess, a twentysomething from the UK, and this blog is a place where I can spew my thoughts and pretend I’m a hip, introspective young woman who has her shit together.
I’m an avid reader and film-watcher, a history nerd, a feminist, and a unicorn enthusiast. I’m also a traveller (when I can afford to be) and left my heart in Italy.
When I’m not nerding out over history (usually the 16th century, or witch trials, or nuns) or fantasy (I could watch Critical Role for hours) or a mixture of the two (sit down, I’m going to tell you why Maleficent’s annoyance in Sleeping Beauty was completely justified), you might find me having a singing lesson or, most likely, day-dreaming about how cool centaurs are.
